When Jacob and smokie were first seen talking on the beach ,Jacob asked if he was there about the ship and MIB told him he knew why the ship was there that Jacob brought it there.Well ,then MIB said"they are all the same they come, they destroy,they die .Well my question is that if Jacob said ,"It only happens once and the rest is just progress."If thats the case ands he has brought many there before and none are still around at this time-how many times has this played out for mib -he said they come ,destroy,die.I guess I'm asking does anyone think that there were "JACOBS BEFORE THE JACOB WE SAW".jACOB SAID THAT IF MIB were to kill him that their would be someone else to take his place and keep smokie trapped,but Jacob also acted as if that was the first time that MIB had tried to have him killed that he actually knew of,(When richard was first conned into trying to kill Jacob)SO mib already knew what the events of the boat would lead to ,well Jacob didn't .

No this was jacob all along and I dont know if you are suggesting this is a time loop where the same thing happens over and over again. I dont take what MIB to mean that this was a repeat of the BR coming to the Island. All MIB meant was that the results were the same with the countless people he brought to the Island. If it was the same people over and over again ti wouldnt really be fair to say that "people" were inherently bad if it was the saem people over and over.

So when jacob was killed by ben I believe this was the first time he was killed,. And the candidates whoever it is and manages to replace Jacob will look as they do now and not look like Jacob when and if they do replace him

Yes,it's been awhile since I have got back to this thread ,but I was wondering if this was a time -loop at the time.I say that because of the ALT time line and the skipping thru time.At first I thought this.It was just a thought with them jumping thru time they could have easily saw ,met ,or changed the past and future.So,I did think that Jacob had brought 360 peps(the names on the dial)and anyone with those peps to the island for better or worse to make is point.I was wondering more about what we have learned since I posted this thread.The person or people that got them to where they are and their jobs of protecting the island and DESTROYING IT.bY NOW WE KNOW THAT THIER FAKE MOTHER GOT THEM IN THIS POSITION.Jacob was raised to be better than to kill in rage no matter what the event that made him so outraged(his brother killing his mom).How did she get there and who and what was she?Did the island make Claudia have twins,she wasn't expecting twins as we know ,but mothers plan was for jacob to come to the island and be raised by her to one day take her spot.How did she know about what would happen if you went into the light?Did she or someone that came with her already do it?I know it's alot of questions that can't be answered,but if there ios any knowledge out there-THIS IS THE PEOPLE YOU ASK.i'VE BEEN A PART OF THIS LOST FAMILY FOR OVER 5YRS.i POST EVERY ONCE AND AWHILE,BUT i'M ALWAYS READING AND TAKING NOTES OF THE PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM.I use what I know and think and combine it with what the thoughts and thoeries on the forum.So I'm not always in the mix.JUst any thoughts of these topics will be very appreciated.I can take criticism as good as compliments.Thanks for all your help.What kinda of pills are those at the bottom of your post?I love it!
