All the theories that have been posted have been awesome. One thing i think we are forgetting about and it applies to the people who were keeping track of the man on the freighter lookiing for the flight attendent that was his fiance. I think his name was Daniel. They were showing his adventures all as part of that missing pieces pieace the writers did before the season started. I really want to know when he will appear and what signifiance he has to the whole story. For those who dont know what im talking about, again, there were stories going on before the season started on abc.com

This guy was Sam and he was in the pre-season webisodes which lead to him boarding a ship that was looking for the Black Rock in the trench. He was annonmously e-mailed the coordinates where they found flight 815 at the bottom of the trench, but that is far from our real island. I do not think we'll see him again. Also, I do not recall his flight attendant, almost fiancee, being any one of the Losties or Tailies.

His girl was Cindy from the tail section, that was later seen with the kids
when Sawyer was locked in the cage.

Yeah his fiance is a full-blown Ben-loving Other who's presumably in the Temple with Richard Alpert right now. I think the purpose of this whole webisode was just to add a neat backstory to the finding of the "fake Oceanic 815". Perhaps we'll see Daniel again, perhaps not, but for now I think it's safe to say that his story is on hold and we won't be seeing him show up on the freighter or anything!

i never played 815 - not really into the games but i remember watching a video about it and i dont think his fiancee was cindy. am sure it was a flight attendant but not her.

i am sure i remember reading that sam would not be featured in the show but there is so much conflicting information out there - who knows.

yeah his name was Sam Thomas in the Find 815 game and the woman he was searching for was a flight attendant name Sonya. So I don't think she was the one with the others. The producers have said that they don't consider Find 815 canon of the story so I think Sam Thomas has played his role.
