This email is from a friend of mine who always sends me a theory after each episode! :) I hope you guys enjoy!
My, but things are getting curiouser and curiouser, aren't they "Lost" Ones? First off, let me say that so far I find The Invaders extremely irritating and obnoxious people. But maybe that's a good thing; it'll give us time to figure out what their real purpose is and then we can decide if they are bad guys or merely misunderstood individuals who were duped into going on this "covert mission." I also now think that the main baddie this year will be Abaddon, the "lawyer" from Oceanic. The name alone is a tip off as to his character (or what he is): Abaddon is a demon called "The Angel of the Abyss" who was mentioned in Revelation 9:11. And there is some thought in the "Lost" Community that he is "The Monster" taking on physical form. I don't think so. I still believe that it will be revealed that he is from either the intelligence community or (my personal fav) a rival pharmaceutical company who want to exploit the Island's "resources" for their own pecuniary purposes. And all I have to say about a search and rescue team (or were they treasure hunters?) finding the wreckage of 815 is: INDONESIA???? Man, when the "pilot" said they were off course, he wasn't kidding! They would have flown Northwest and straight over Australia itself in order to wind up in the Java Trench. Last I looked, if you're flying from Sydney to LA, you'd be going Northeast! Ah, and now we have some real mysteries here. If this is indeed 815, then wouldn't our intrepid survivors have noticed that they were flying over the Australian deserts and not open water? And hasn't it been established that the cockpit seperated on impact and that the "pilot" was murdered by the Security System? Okay, my conspiracy minded "Losties", I think you know where this is going. (Maniacal Laughter!) Yes! This is NOT the wreckage of Oceanic 815! The "drunken" pilot, Frank LePetis, was correct; that was not the pilot of 815. Either somebody went to a lot of trouble to steal an Oceanic jet and plant a lot of dead bodies on the plane (from morgues all over the world?) in an attempt to make the world believe there were no survivors of 815 or we are talking - get ready - some sort of weird space-time distortion here. In one reality, 815 did crash and there were no survivors. But when the plane went over the Island, maybe, because of the strange physical properties of the Island, the plane not only split apart physically, but also bifurcated in time, too. We are now speaking of parallel worlds here! HEY! Gimme a break here, willya? I'm making this up as I go along. I have no idea what any of this means, so I'm just letting my brain overload on possibilities. We also have further mysteries; If Charlotte Lewis, the Cultural Anthropologist, found a polar bear with a DHARMA "Hydra" station collar on in the Tunesian Sahara, then you have to ask; did the DHARMA Initiative set up scientific stations all over the world? It also appeared that she knew what she would find there, too. This indicates that somebody (Abaddon, Naomi and associates?) is searching for evidence of DHARMA activity. And now the big mystery; why hire an amateur team consisting of an anthroplogist, a phyicist, a paranormal investigator and a "drunken" pilot in order to retrieve one individual? Whoever is behind this knows all about Ben and, undoutedly, what he's done. Why the team? Notice that they mirror the makeup of the original teams of scientists who were stationed on the Island in the first place. They may be there specifically to find out exactly what DHARMA accomplished before Ben wiped them out. And who better to interrogate than Benjamin Linus? And now the biggest mystery of all; Who is Ben's spy on the freighter? We know the Others had contact with the outside world and could gather an unusual amount of first class intelligence in a short time. Not bad. Hell, most official intelligence agencies can't acquire that kind of info so quickly. So, it's not so surprising that Ben knew that there were undoubtedly teams searching for the Island and obtain it's secrets. I guess if you're a paranoid, manipulative mass murderer, you have to be on your guard at all times. Never know what's going to just drop out of the skies at any moment. I look forward to next week's episode because another of the Oceanic Six will be revealed! Stay tuned and... Stay "Lost"!
