Locke gets shot by Ben and falls into the Dharma grave. Has a bullet wound in the stomach and has no feeling in his legs. A day or so goes by and Locke awakes holds the gun to his head, and then Walt appears, telling him he has "work to do". Gets out of the grave, and is fine???? How did he heal????? I don't remember. Mind a little foggy.

He lived because his father had stolen his kidney, as you'l know from earlier in the series. The bullet didn't hit any internal organs so he was fine. The island healed the wound it'self relatively quickly. The island has healing properties - makes cuts and bruises heal far faster, same with gun shot wounds too by the looks of things.

I'm contending thats MiB (despite what is said about him only being able to impersonate the dead).


Correct me if i'm wrong, but the "work" that John went to do from that grave, was to stick a knife right in Naomi's back so she couldn't contact the freighter. stands to reason that he only stopped the freighter so the candidates wouldnt escape. Plus it helped to continually paint the freighter people as a threat so that way Ben and John would follow with the plan of turning the wheel.

The healing part was hinted at, when Johns father bit him and you see him take off the bandage the same day and his hand was healed.

As I have been watching back season 3 lately I'm thinking certain events placed here are deliberate to go with the ending and I'm not assuming the obvious like Juliet scanning Sun.
