Want to know the real reason Dollhouse was canceled? The secret is out, thanks to the only fandom that might possibly be as enthusiastic and dedicated as sci-fi fandom. And that fandom is—crocheting fandom.

Back when Wired asked Joss Whedon about how publicity was going for Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, he joking replied, (http://www.wired.com/underwire/2008/07/joss-whedon-tal/) "Fact is, there's been some buzz, but it hasn't reached the places it would normally. Where's our write-up in Crocheting Monthly?"
Funny guy, that Whedon. But to the crocheting community, that was no joke. Kim Werker over at the Crochet Me site put out a call to the crocheters everywhere (http://crochetme.com/blogs/kim_werker/archive/2008/7/20/calling-geek-crafters-we-want-to-interview-joss-whedon-and-we-need-your-help.aspx) to get Whedon's attention—and they did!
