Did anyone thik it was wierd the way Ben asked if the rabbit Locke brought him for dinner had a number on it? It's as if Locke would have told him that it did, then Ben wouldn't have eaten it! Just a thought!!!

Yes the did use rabbits but I think that was something for the fans to laugh at and not necessarily something that had any meaning.

it was definitely a 'laugh line', but it also proved to ben that locke doesn't know about the dharma bunny 15 (the orchid video). it seems ben keeps probing locke to see what locke knows.

I don't know about Oahu, but on the island of Kauai there are a gazillion feral (meaning undomesticated) chickens all over the island. Evidently they got loose when the Hurricane struck the island some years ago and have multiplied like crazy.


As for the rabbit line, I laughed out loud and my wife wanted to know what was so funny...

I don't think the rabbits were just a laugh off. The writers don't do things that are irrelavent.
So..... how come the rabbit in the film from the DI, physically time traveled, (2 #15 rabbits "don't let them see each other!!!"). But the humans are only mind tripping???

did you guys see the lost commercial/preview that was on abc.com over the summer with the dharma video guy doing an experiment and the rabbit flipping out? that video wasn't in any of the shows was it. it was kind of freaky.
also I remember when ben was a kid and he was shutting down the electric or magnetic whatever field on those poles and sent the poor rabbit first. I was like "nooo!"
