Juliet's saying "an other or another?" Does she know she's a clone?

When Juliet was responding to who Harper is? "It's not easy being an other or another?" Remember the android on Aliens? In the end he did try to save the humans, even tho he was an android. Could the others simply be an experimental colony of clones? Unable to bring fetuses to term? Mirroring their life off the island where their real selves are? Cloning raises a lot of bio=ethics issues that would be more of a draw for the scientific world than it would be for the miracle seekers-maybe? Is Ben the leader because he is not a clone? Just wondering...What do you think?

i think she was just being facetious with regard to how the losties called them the others.

but sure, they could be clones!
