My Friends and I are going to be having a Lost-Extravaganza!! On Sunday and we will be making Dharma, Widmore, LOST inspired Food. For Example, we have Downloaded the Dharma Beer Labels from the show and are sticking them to the Beer Cans. I'm making Island Fruit Salad.....Does anyone have any Ideas for Food?

Remember, this is an all day thing; AND we would prefer stuff we can nibble on off and on. So......

Oh! And we have Plastic Coconut Cups, Flower Leis, Grass Skirt stuff that we are decorating with, We are making "TEAM.......whatever" T-Shirts and there WILL be pictures!

1. Baked Ham
2. Something with Peanut Butter - cookies? or pie?
3. Hurley talked about the dipping sauces he made in the 70's....do some chicken fingers with an assortment of sauces including Ranch.

Just remember...and this is my real chef side talking now.... if you are having an all day kind of party you cannot leave food out for more than 2 hours if it is not kept at the proper safe temperature or your guests will be infected and claimed....always keep hot food at 140' or higher and cold foods at 0' to 41'.

Have a great party!!!

Ohhhhhhh.....Peanut Butter Cookies! AWESOME! Check!

But....Baked Ham? Oh....because of the Wild Boar! Ha Ha! Okay, but I think that's too much for us to eat. So maybe we will skip that.....

Chick Fingers is a must! Cluckty Cluck Chick Fingers! FANTASTIC IDEA!

And to the "Real Chef".....Do I need to keep the Fruit Salad Cold Too? It has WaAtermelon, Cantelope, Honeydew, Pineapple, Blueberries, Strawberries, Mango, Papaya, Kiwi and Star Fruit. I mean, it will be refridgerated before and after....but we can keep that out for longer than 2 hours right?

Ham because Ben baked one for Juliet, remember? You can get a spiral cut ham that's already cooked and just heat it up. It is great for people to pick at. But, I don't know how many people you are talking about. You can find a smallish one, about 3 or 4 lbs maybe.

Yes, any food kept out longer than 2 hours and not at safe temperatures will allow bacteria to begin to grow, even fruit salad. Just try and alternate your foods if you have no way to keep them cold or hot. Put things out for around 2 hours and then back in the fridge until thoroughly cold again or in oven on a low temp to warm up again. Alternate the foods on your table so that there is always something out or put out things like chips and dip so that you always have something to offer people.

I went out and shot a polar bear that was roaming through my garbage.
I plan on serving him with a side of ham with a coconut sauce..
