I'm suprized that no one has asked if there was anything of importance on dans map! So I will-- Was there anything on his map??? I dont have tivo so I couldnt go back and look. anyone have a screen shot to look at or notice if there was anything on there?

Yes. Some second grader drew it. To be more serious, I think it was just a sketchy map drawn from limited information known about the island. And particulary where they needed to get to. I wish someone has a still shot.

Very interesting. Wonder who made the map and was thinking it could have been from the Black Rock journal, but realized that was pre-DHARMA. So not only have the others been back and forth from the island but someone who is working with the ship has been also possibly?

it still may be from the journal. this was from the hanso family - perhaps they ahve been back and forth to the island and kept the map in there and its possibly gone along with the auction - by accident or on purpose!

not saying this is what i think, just a possibility!

it soooo looks like his left thumb is doing a good job of covering something purposefully! it kinda reminds me of the way Jack was holding the news article in front of the funeral home- crinkled just a lil.
