Boy and the birds

Sorry if this was talked about earlier. I've never posted to a message board, but I can't get enough of LOST.

Has anyone mentioned the boy in the room with the boarded up windows & all the dead birds on the ground outside? What's up with that?

that was walt - michaels son.

was it one of the webisodes - i cant remember?

however, i think it was related to an previous episode in which walt and his stepfather have a little bit of a bickering match and at the same time a bird flies into the window. which is suggesting that this might be something to do with walts 'abilities'.

Thanks. I've been trying to keep up, but with the webisodes, mobisodes, podcasts, and reading all of the message boards & websites, I could spend all day and night trying to figure things out. I LOVE IT!! You guys (and gals) are great!
