Please let me know if anyone else has seen this movie. The similarites with Lost is crazy. The statue,island,control rooms, sets,machinery..etc. The movie was directed by Sergio Leone back in 1961. I think there is something behind this. I would love to hear from someone about this. At the end of the movie the actor Rory Calhoun say's "this is a island of peace" and then shows the Left foot of the statue. Remember the foot in early lost episodes on the sailboat.

Also when it fell it broke at the knee. The island is suppose to be some kind of utopia. It's one of the seven wonders of the world, would be interesting in it played a part in the show.

Gotta see this movie, I didn't realize that was what you were talking about. I thought that you meant real history.

Rory Calhoun hmmm? All that I can think of is that he is "standing on his hind legs and wearing clothes" (Simpsons)
