could richard be the smoke monster?

as far as we know richard has always been on the island, and everytime we see richard he always looks the same. since smokie can take human form, could richard be the smoke monster? it makes sense that smokie would take the same form every time it wanted to look like richard.

the message smokie "aka harper" delivered to juliet could just as easily come from richard instead of ben since richard wouldn't want any harm to come to ben - his prize pupil - or the island.

granted, there's not tons of proof for this theory so go ahead and shoot holes in it.:D

its possible. i mean he is the only person we know for sure hasnt aged and he does seem to have a certain amount of clout within the others.

Hmmm I never thought of that! You never know! I'm pretty sure we'll find out a little bit more about the smoke monster this season, since they've brought it up again!
