Grenade in Mouth Approach

If Lockes grenade in mouth approach to get Miles to talk is designed to work I hope he checks in on him regularly!!:D But if he wants information you would think he would stay close by to take the grenade out every once and awhile to see if he is ready to talk. I don't know about anybody else, one time would be the charm for me. I wouldn't want him to come back, take the grenade out and then place it back in if I didn't talk. Kind of messes with the mind...sort of!!;)

yeah....i don't know why they haven't "filled us in" on the status of Miles.... Locke obv thinks that he can break him but i don't really think so....maybe he should give claire a try at it......maybe now he won't care so much with the info Ben has fed him

Yeah, this has been bothering me too. I thought for sure we were going to see a Locke & Miles scene last episode. I know the events on the show are fast paced but seriously how long has this dude been biting down on a live grenade? (I can't stand Miles and I'm glad Locke did it)

i think locke did it as he was pissed at ben but isnt strong enough to directly attack ben so took it out on miles. now that locke and ben are buds, you would think he mighta went back to miles.

He obviously wouldn't talk, so Locke is going to have to try something else. If Locke wants the information out of him, he's not going to leave him there to die. Not to mention the risk to himself if he stayed in there with Miles.

The grenade thing was just for the shock factor, and was his initial attempt to break him into talking. If it's still there, then Locke wouldn't be stupid enough to have used a "live" grenade.

I think it might be a dud grenade. How is Locke going to take it out of Miles' mouth without it going off ? The pin was pulled. He would have to throw it out the door fast and very far. I don't think Locke can move like the speed of lightening.

It could be live. The trigger won't go off until you lift the lever. I think you have like 3-5 seconds once the trigger is let go.

In Miles case, the trigger would only lift up if it falls out of his mouth. So Locke can walk up, grab it while holding the trigger down, and put the safety pin back in.

I just don't think it's live for the other reasons I mentioned.

God yeah, just watching Locke put the grenade in his mouth made me put my hands up to my own mouth and imagine what it must be like having to keep it there - horrible! I don't know if anyone else gets like this - but I always can almost feel someone else's pain if they're getting something horrible done to them! AHH!
