If you've always wanted to be involved with Dragon*Con, but didn't feel like volunteering to work 25 hours (usually more... a LOT more) during the convention. Here's your chance.

The MMO track, as we are prone to do, has a lot of events on the schedule (more than 40, but less than last year...) Unfortunately, my staff and I can't be experts on every single game out there that is worth covering. We're still working on NCSoft, Turbine, and Cryptic, but unless we get a remarkable streak of luck in the next month or so, I'm expecting at least one of these companies to say they can't make it this year.

Which means we have some games that need panelists...

Specifically:

Aion (we got nuthin'... anyone still play this game?)
City of Heroes (I have a few folks in mind, but if you want to step up and give it a shot, now's your chance)
Champions Online (I play, I know a few others who play, but again, if you want a chance to run a panel on it, c'mon down.)
Star Trek Online (See Comment for Champions Online)
Lord of the Rings Online (Paging Tolkein Track Folks... I know at least one of you plays...)
Dungeons and Dragons Online (I think we have this one covered, but I need to confirm)

Now there is still a possibility that we will have the game companies behind these games show up. If so, then obviously, we'd let them handle the panel.

When I started doing EQ panels, many years ago, it took someone willing to give me a chance to get on the mic and run the show. If you want a chance to get up on stage and see what it's like, drop me a line over at http://www.dc-mmo.org. (http://www.dc-mmo.org.) We'll have staff on hand to handle the room setup and make sure you have whatever you need (mic's, projector if you want to do an in-game demo, etc) All you need to do is be willing to answer some questions and get folks talking.

If you want to know more about it, or just have questions about what we have going on, drop by the DC*MMO website and drop me a line. I'll be happy to help in any way I can.
