I hope Fox wins...he had some crazy good emotional scenes but also had some good action scenes. I think he would be surprised if he got it but i'm keeping my fingers crossed. has he ever been nominated before?

I love Michael Hall and I actually hope he does win the Emmy. He is an absolutely amazing actor and has been consistantly good for the past four seasons of Dexter. He deserves it more I think.

I just think it would be great for Fox to finally be recognized for the work hes done. Considering he was originally supposed to die in the second episode and the whole show eventually revolved around him in a way. I would be happy with a Hall win too. Hall was secretly dealing with cancer last season and he stayed strong and beat it

Fox gave his best performances for S6, especially in "The End," but will probably not win.
Emerson was at his best in "Doctor Linus," but will probably not win.
O'Quinn was great all season long, and has the best shot at winning his second Emmy.
Mitchell had very little to do in "The End," and her nomination seems like an apology for not even being nominated for S5.
Anyway...Good luck to all the nominees.

speaking of Dexter...gotta give Lithgow credit...he submitted himself as a guest actor so he wouldn't go up against hall or any of the other Dexter actors..oh wait...just remembered there is now a Dexter thread

Lithgow is up as a supporting or something? How totally great! He was absolutely unbelievable in season 4 of Dexter. I never saw that side in his acting before. He blew me away.

I'm not surprised Jorge didn't get nominated. I've never been too impressed with his emotional scenes. Like when he told Claire charlie was dead he looked like he just squinted. If there was an emmy for being a regular guy that says dude he would get it.

No Emmy nod for Nestor Carbonell in Ab Aeterno? Thats what surprises me.

I thought Fox did great this year. I mean out of all the regulars Jack had the most screen time. He was so good in the finale. The fight scene, the emotions...he had it all. I don't think Emerson should get one for this year. last year definitely. They just didn't give him enough screen time. I'm sure if they would have given him more time he would have won. But there is no way he is gonna beat O'quinn. I didn't even see locke when i looked at him this year.

As much as I do love Michael Emerson forever, he may not win - simply because they didn't give him the screen time they did in the past when he won.

I think it would be nice if Matthew Fox won again. - first season and last season.

Also funny and interesting is that both Michael Emerson's and wife Carrie Preston's shows are up against each other. :D
