I promise that if you go back now and watch S1 and pay close attention to Kate she is very suspicious. She always wants to be a part of what is going on, she is the only one who sees where the cockpit crashed, and later in S2 she just happens to get captured, forcing Jack to give up the guns.

I say there is more to her than we know.

She is ridiculously annoying, that is why Jack is going nuts!! Jack keeps saving her ass over and over again and she does nothing to thank him. The only thing that keeps Jack from getting really pissed at her is because she is ridiculously attractive!

Im rewatching S1, and yeah, Kate can be very annoying. She wants to do everything and is always putting her foot in it. Very annoyed with her right now, especially after the episode where she wants to carry the dynamite. The line should have been "Youve got some Kate on you."

Yes her behaviour in season 1 is still confusing me so much in this season as to why she wants to get off the island, I really don't understand it now!
