View Full Version : the black hole theory

so recently on the history channel, i saw an interesting piece on the bermuda triangle and devils triangle. Apparently some scientists believe there is a black hole in the middle of the earth and sucks boats and planes and what not through the bermuda triangle and the devils triangle. my theory is, that the plane got thrown off course and flew over the devils triangle and was sucked into a black hole. and if u know anything about black holes, there is an opposite white hole which produces matter that could possibly have been sucked in through the black hole. so if they were sucked through they couldve have been "recreated" on the island which is where matter is then produced from the white hole. this could explain why people cannot easily find the island and why there are several ships (the black rock) and other things that have crashed on the island.
post your thoughts if u have any

I believe that any scientist who says there is a black hole anywhere on this planet, or in our solar system for that matter, does not have an actual degree. It is pure science fiction, period. I have made a post about this in another thread; if you would like it posted here as well, do not hesitate to ask.

The whole black rock arriving on the island is interesting especially since it appears to be very far inland. perhaps the time difference has something to do with where it ended up

we don't know how far inland the Black Rock is.....

And, the black hole, don't think so. Here's why, you got your black hole where everything goes through correct ? and a "white hole" (whatever that is) puts the matter back together, correct? put what about the supply plane would the hole work the same going the other way ????

A white hole? I think I saw that movie.

are you able to just leave a black hole but if you are it may explain the time difference

although black holes are real and they do exist i have never heard of this opposite end, these in fact have never been discovered/found and I have yet to hear any evidence on this so called "white hole" the reason they are called blackholes is because matter and energy move so fat around the center of gravity and as they get closer the spiral of matter/energy begins moving around so fast that the light cannot escape the gravity thus why in the center of a black hole you see nothing but darkness, when in fact there is really matter there, its wavelength is just not visible to the naked eye.
this has nothing to do with a blackhole, this series is beyond that and in the end will come together rather simply. The writers didnt put together a show where the last episode would take 100 hours to sit through, some of these theories go beyond explaining to the general public and seem rather unplausible to an extent that the writers cannot explain what would be happening if this was the case.

I agree with Salvia. There has been absolutely no evidence of a "white hole" at any point in the reseaching of black holes. It is not a "worm hole" that has a long tunnel one could travel through. A black hole is a single point of infinite density. Matter is never recombined into its state prior to entering the black hole. In fact, most of the material that comes near a black hole never makes it into the "hole" itself. A comparison was made for the influx of material into a black hole as, "Trying to fill a dog dish with a fire hose."
