hey im new to all this forum thingy so wouldnt know if it been brought up before, but ive been thinkin a lot of the characters seem to have shall we say dodgy or strained relashionships with there fathers e.g locke and his kidney stealing dad ,hurley and his dad goin awol ,walt &michael,jack and claires messed up dad ,bens abusive dad,jin &his father in law ,kate &her step dad, am i just imagine all this or.......

Kate killed her step-father (actual Dad) for abusing her Mom
Hurley's Dad bolted on him
Locke's Dad...everthing!
Sawyer's Dad, killed his mom over an affair with conman and killed himself
Claire's absent father (actually Jack's alcoholic Dad)
Ben's abusive and alcoholic father
Sun's wealthy controlling father
Penny's wealthy controlling father
Jin is embarrased by fisherman father and says he is dead
Shannon's dad dies and leaves her pennyless
