does that apply to everyone or just Michael? I was thinking now that we know Jack and Kate the other 4 get off the island does that mean they can't die either? kinda proof Jin is still on the island then right?

I think it has to do with michael and the fact that he is needed to keep widmore and his people from finding the island. perhaps once he fufills his purpose he can die. or maybe thats what Jack meant when he told Kate at the end of last season that they had to go back. Maybe if they dont go back to the island they are forced to live forever and cannot die.

hello, Im Bubbles, new at this and just wanted mention something my husband and I were discussing. Is it possible that Jack,Kate,Sayd.Hurley and (lol, I forgot) are protected by the island(in some strange way), so that can watch over and protect Aaron ? Just a wild idea, lol :)

Anyone else not buying into this whole "the island wont let you die idea"? Maybe Tom rigged the gun to jam. Good way to maniplate an idoit like Michael.

This is a tough call. The producers have said that everything that is going on in the program is plausible.

What with the Smoke Monster and Desmond (and possibly Daniel) being unstuck in time, it is a stretch. Now we have the island making Juju to keep people alive.

Maybe it's something to do with Jacob.

even if the gun was switched by tom, that car crash should have caused more than a sore neck.
