had a look on imdb and i see that john terry is credited for the episode (christian shephard) which would make sense for the whole he is jacob theory.

although i dont want this theory to be correct as i dont like the idea of christian being shephard but it would also explain why aaron is super important as he is the blood of jacob.

Holy Smokes! That could be huge! Christian Shephard = Jacob making Jacob the father of Claire and grandfather of Aaron. Then again, I think Jacob has been on the island a long time, so maybe Christian Shephard is the son of Jacob or is still somehow related. I know that Jeff Fahey had been cast in the series and I thought that he might be Jacob since he had a beard when he was chosen for the role and the guy in the rocking chair (called Jacob by Ben) appeared to have a beard.

I think they credited his name in the cast because his image was used in Jacob's house. I don't think the Christian we saw in Jacob's house was the actual Christian. I think it was just an image that Jacob chose to appear as. But what get's me. Why would he choose the image of Chritian to be seen as to Hurly? I have a theiory that Jacob wa sthe source of all the images except the image of the dark Yemie that caused Eko's death. I don't think Jacob would do that. I belive that the image of Christian that Jack saw in episode "White Rabit" was Jacob showing Jack to the path he needed to be on and showe dhim to the caves and water source. this time around he showed Hurley back to teh path he neede dto be on by showing him to Locke. Someone who is mor ethan capabile of getting Hurley back on the path to the other survivers.

So, potentially, Jacob could be behind all of the hallucinations on the island. He could even be Smoky too!

But why would be appear as Christian to Hurley when he didn't know him, nor did Locke for that matter. Assuming that Locke saw him as Hurley did and not someone else. I mean, he wouldn't appear as two different people to both of them would he? If so, whats the point?

I think this is definitely a strong theory. Look at Christian Shepard's name for one...it has a lot of religious irony along with it. Also, there is something apparently really special about Aaron as Claire is warned by the priest not let anyone else take care of this child. He is the one who actually buys the plane ticket for flight 815 for Claire insisting she get on it. So having Christian (or Jacob) being his grandfather could possibly make sense along with fathering both Jack who is seen as a leader himself and Claire. It's a longshot but an interesting theory nonetheless :)

Yes Christian Shepard (Jack's father) had an affair with a woman over 20 years ago which resulted in Claire. Christian tried to be in her life has a child but Claire's aunt hated him and they told him to stay away. We saw an episode when Claire was older (with black hair haha) where Christian tries to make amends and be in her life. So we know Claire knows who her father is, but she still doesn't know he's also Jack's father making them brother and sister. Should be interesting when they find out, haha hopefully they won't do any making out between now and then lol :p

Yah I read a spoiler that said Aaron does get off but I don't think he'd be apart of the "Oceanic 6" since his name wouldn't have been on the plane's manifest since he wasn't born yet. He'll probably be seen as a miracle child or something since he survived the crash, was born on the island and survived? This should be a good season :)

Did the show ever reveal who Kate's father really is? If not do you think Kate could be the daughter of Christian Shepard?

Yah her real father is this man who I believe is a sergeant general or something in the army. I think Sayid met him while in the national guard which would show the connection between him and Kate. But yah Kate wouldn't have been Christian's daughter, haha that would make things quite awkward now wouldn't they! :p

It would be interesting to see that Christian is Jacob and for Claire and Jack to see him at the same time and hear both of them say in unison "Dad!". Wouldn't that be interesting?

Also, sense we are talking about Claire and Jak, did anyone notice if she went with Locke or did she stay with Jack? Just something to think about.

Claire and Aaron went with Locke when they split up because she wanted to trust Charlie like Hurley did. And I agree, I can't wait to see how Jack and Claire find out they're related, I bet they'll do a really cool job too!

Kate's real father was the person she thought was her step father. I forget his name, but it's the guy she killed by blowing him up. The army guy is the man she thought was her father, but she still considers him her father more than the bastard wife beater.

Kate's real father was Wayne.. the guy she killed and the one she thought was her just her stepfather.

Naw that guy was in the hatch with desmound. We sall Kates father in season 2 when she blew him up in a house. The cournel dude died on the Island by desmound. He was the same dude who got Sayid to torture his first victim too. Its all in season 2.

No I wasn't talking about that guy, there is another guy that IS her father but I think its her step father....she just always thought he was her real father. I just can't remember his name. I know the other military guy with Desmond had been with Sayid. But I could have sworn Kate's dad had a connection with another character on the show.
