Aaron being raised by Kate

So, I need you to think way back. Maybe it was season 1 or 2 but they did a flashback of Claire when she first found out she was preggers. I think she went to some psychic or something and the psychic bought her the Oceanic ticket and told her the world would be doomed if the baby was not raised by her. Well, obviously Aaron is not being raised by her. She may be dead - she may still be on the island - I don't know. But, what are the thoughts on this?

Don't remember exactly what the psychic said but that the baby must not be raised by another, I think. Someone said was it an "Other" or another? It's a full time job to follow all threads and be up on everything so I don't know if he was a reputable guy or just giving her a reason to take very good care of her baby since she was very young and a first time Mom. If a psychic told you that your child was very important and special wouldn't that be very impressive to someone like Claire who was young and naive? She was very protective and watchful for anything that might harm Aaron. Not all Mothers are as watchful, I'm sorry to say.

yeah i remember when that psychic said that. i was thinking about that the other day that things should be getting pretty crazy in the future part of the show because of Kate taking care of Aaron.

Well as far as we know Aaron is the first baby to be born on the island so that makes him special.( except for maybe Alex but thats a future show i believe)

Also Ben was young child on the island and became the leader, maybe he feels threatened? Maybe thats why walt was let go or abducted like the others on the list? ( now this is a shot in the dark but who knows)
