Return of Michael?

It seems that Michael and Walt will almost have to make a reappearance. If the magnetic field of the Island causes boats following compass headings to sail in circles (like Desmond did when he tried to sail due West), the same thing had to happen to Michael. Remember, Ben never said who would rescue Michael and Walt, just that if they followed that compass heading they would be eventually rescued. A few days after they run out of gas, food and water, and they would be glad enough to see the Others again. The Others really did not give out anything - they get their boat and Walt back, and now they have Michael as leverage over a stubborn Walt.
Also, picture the perfect trap that Michael fell into. He left camp with four friends who were willing to risk their lives to retrieve Walt; and he betrayed them to capture/death without a backward look. That plus the lies he was guarenteed to have to tell to ensure that those friends, and only those friends, left with him would pretty much ensure he would never be trusted/welcome. Even if he had never killed anyone, the Others pretty much ensured that he could never go back. They really never gave him anything; they got it all back, and he has no choice left but to cooperate.

Very well said, I like that even if he did not kill anyone, which I think he wished he could have avoided. But they also D know he killed Anna Lucia and Libby, and that seals his fate, as far as the survivvors are concerned. The thing I wonder about is if Walt has lost his "powers" like it was only a poltergeist thing, or if he will lose them, as some only have that stuff when they are in the adolesence phase , must be hormonal

the producers have confirmed their involvement in season 4, and I doubt it is off the island... or maybe there is another 'place' we shall soon be seeing! Perhaps where the others were going...

Yeah the actor who plays Michael was on E News or the Daily 10 or something and he said he is definetly in this season. The only akward thing about all that is the young man who plays Walt (as glad as I am that they didn't get a different actor) has clearly hit ppuberty since his last appearance... this will annoy me while watching because it breaks the reality of the show a little. lol randoooom!

I kinda figured walt and mikey would be back 20 bucks says they're on that freighter boat thing, they never made it away from the island, they can't its impossible, plus Ben wouldn't let anyone just leave. Can't wait to see walt again, hes a great actor, very weird and mysterious. I like him
