Dave's slipper appears in "Through the Looking Glass (1)" episode when Charlie dove. It was swimming near by the rope Charlie used to dove faster.

Hmm this is the first I've heard of that, I'll have to check that out. Haha I'm not sure how you would explain that but just as Charlie is dead on the island but somehow alive in the real world, maybe Dave is "dead" in the real world but alive on the island. Doubt it, seriously doubt it haha but who knows.

Well when I look at that, I see Charlie lose a shoe on his left foot, as he kicks to swim. You see that his left foot is missing a shoe when you see the floating shoe go buy. It's not a slipper, it's like a slip on shoe.
