Are you sad Danyille is dead?

I balwed my eyes out shouting "Noooooooooooo not the mom."
I was sad after being shipwrecked, left alone, giving birth alone, having her newborn kidnapped, reuniting w/ her daughter after nearly 2 decades of living alone, she is mudered.

Any chance she will survive this like John?

Any chance Ben took Alex because Danyille was insane. Did things really happen like she told everyone? Did he think Alex safer w/ him? If not Ben is such a beast.

I don't believe Danielle is insane. I think shes very much in tune with the island and she is not dead.

Rousseau is not dead. They made a point of showing that Karl was dead - they just showed her getting shot in the back.

I don't think she's dead either. She'll be in bad shape but she will track "the perps" and rescue Alex.

yeah, i dont think her or carl died because, that tom guy told Michael that the island wouldnt let him die?

so i think that the island wont let carl and the french chick die, but thats just me.;)
i also think that Ben was the one that shot the french chick and carl, i think that he made them head for the temple, then followed them and shot carl and the french chick.

I know Karl is dead because he did an interview and said he is going on Broadway. Now Danielle, I don't know, he didn't say too much about her.

I don't think Rousseau is dead. The fact that she's been so independent for so long and there's so much more we don't know about her tells me she's alive. I just don't get why people would be shooting at them, I mean what's the point of it?

I don't think Rousseau is dead because even Ben told Alex that Rousseau would take good care of her or protect her or something like that. I think Ben actually liked/respected Rousseau so I doubt his instructions were to kill her. I can't say the same for Karl. Ben seemed not to like or respect him, and we all know what happens if Alex gets pregnant.

My only problem with the ambush scene is whomever was shooting seemed to miss a lot which is why I think the Others were the ambushers.

Yeah like why would they start shooting at Danielle if Ben really cared for her? I DID get the impression that Ben did care about her and also said she'd take care of Alex, but if he gave the order then surely they wouldn't shoot at Danielle? HAHAHA The shot of Karl with his arm around Alex's waist just marked him the minute I saw it HAHAHA I always think it's really funny when you see Ben's face noticing something like that

yup, and i never saw any of the ambushers....seems pretty stealthy to me.

if someone besides ben captured alex, that would mean someone outsmarted alex, and we'll likely see ben at a huge disadvantage to his enemies.

lol....i also think the military guys on the freighter are anti-stealthy. it does make you wonder why the military guys on the freighter don't just go to the island and take ben and shoot everyone else - it would take a couple hours (but make awful TV.)

lol.....today i told someone i would be busy on thursday. then i realized lost was over for a while.....grrrrrrr.

i might go back and rewatch old episodes and drink some beer...a lot of beer.

I told James he had to let the ham go. But it keeps resurfacing and TQ and islander are the main culprits! I admit to having ham yesterday and I followed the Ben receipe of pinapple rings and marchino cheeries! I sighed with pleasure when it came out of the oven!:D

its the big tall guy from the freighter who was shooting at them. because he told frank to BE THERE! and dont be late as in they were taking off and he needed him to pilot he chopper... at the end of this episode they are now on the island and in the jungle. i garuntee its him. thats why in michaels flashback it made a point of making him look like a bad guy who wants to kill and shoot guns. preping his character... anyways its him.. id put money on it.

Tom told Michael that the island would not let Him die. Didn't say nothing about no one else dieing..... What about all the dharma people. They were on the island and ummm now dead....

Is Danielle gone to soon before we heard her true story? IMO Has Ben led a lonely, narcissistic life? Has he learned to value other people as objects which he likes to control? Does he kill when it suits him because life is just another tool to jealously manipulate? Can you ever imagine or picture Ben living alone w/o anyone to direct? Were Danielle and Karl expendable, material items to be discarded as waste? When Ben runs out of sacrifices, he will be a good candidate for the one in the coffin. I hope I am wrong about this, but things are adding up. I really want to be wrong about Ben.

I don't get how some cannot die ie: Locke after Ben shot him, Michael, Rose's cancer cured, etc. but some can be killed...ie: the parachute chick that Locke whacked, Ben's dad, Dharma people, Rousseau's gang, the two chicks Michael shot, Rousseau's daughter's boyfriend (sorry horrible at names).....

Why do some die and others do?????
