so, this show obviously has a lot of hardcore fans, understandably so. well, about a month ago i purchased the dharma hatch pin set from abc.com, and i wear them all the time. everytime i wear one when i go out, people tend to freak out and ask about them, blah blah blah. so the other night while i was out with some friends, we started talking about lost and how cool it would be to have a lost tattoo. like one of the hatch logos or the numbers or something. just wondering if any of you(or anyone you know) have a lost tattoo? i have friends with all kinds of "super fan" tattoos(twin peaks, cowboy bebop, big lebowski, etc.) i'm seriously considering getting a dharma hatch logo tattoo, but i also don't want to get one until we've seen all of the hatches. post pics if there are any out there!

HAHA Yes it's a good thing I'm trying to save for a holiday - I just go with my impulses - once I wanted to get a cup of tea tattooed on me, and another was the turnip symbol (I might still get that, a tiny one), but I'd also like a rainbow or something, so maybe I should just leave it! HAHA My friend always says 'When you're 90 you don't want people to see you with a tattoo' and I always say 'That's exactly why I DO want one or two tattoos!' HAHA Imagine being 90 and losing your marbles and trying to remember why you got a turnip tattooed onto you HAHAHAHA

I have a tat i'd like to cover....
You gave me a good idea. thanks.
Its would be hard to explain certain tattoos to my little boy.
Maybe a LOGO, or what about a copy of Jack's ink. I always thought his was wicked awesome!

I am getting a tattoo of the number 23 somewhere on my body. Its my favorite number and my birth date... May 23. I have a tattoo on my bum that says "Made In Ireland" in cursive about the size of a business card. I just cant think of a good place to put the number 23 on my body, any ideas?

Turnip,
My great aunt, my grandmother's sister had a bunch of tattoos. She was born in Beaumont, Texas about the time of the first big oil boom there about the turn of the century (I'm talking 1900). As a kid growing up in the 50's and 60's I was fascinated by them.
Later on, I wondered what kind of woman in the 1920's would get tattoos? Was my great aunt a "loose woman?" Or, as my grandmother used to say "anybody's dog that will walk with her."
The technology wasn't as advanced and a couple of them were just blobs of blue ink on her aged, leathery skin. That image always stuck in my mind and I just never could get one. But, my wife and both my son's have them! Go figure...

No way! Do you really have a tattoo on your bum saying 'Made in Ireland'? HAHAHAHA That's classic!!!! How long did it take to get done? And is it uncomfortable asking someone to put a tattoo on your bum? HAHAHAHAHAHA I'd like to get one there for the laugh but I don't think I'd have the nerve to ask some surly man to put one there!

HAHAHA She sounds fantastic! I'd hate to have one of those horrible ones on me though - if I do get another tattoo it has to be something unique, of my own design - I don't like having something other people have!

TQ Im glad you read that hahaha. It actually took awhile, I think it was along the lines of an hour, maybe seventy minutes. When I asked the guy, he looked at me funny and said, "Hey whatever you want man, that'll be 100 bucks." I got it on Patty's Day three years ago and I laugh everytime I catch a glimpse of it in the mirror. I just shake my head and ask myself what I was thinking and laugh a little. It makes for an interesting conversation when I am at an Irish pub and I have a few beers in me. Id post a picture, but I think that would be a little strange hahahah. Maybe Ill just crop it around the words; I would feel awkward if everyone saw my bottom.

WOOHOO! You should post it on the pic thread! I love that you had the nerve to do it! If I was getting something tattooed on my bum it'd have to be something mental - maybe a polar bear! :D

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I love that you're actually doing this! This is so funny! We'll just be careful how much you show because a guy on here posted a pic of him in his boxers and the thread was deleted - I'm not sure if it was actually because of that, but it was strange, so we don't want to take any risks! HAHAHA I'm dying to see this!
