I don't trust Juliet. I mean first she helps Ben. Then she helps the surviors. Next she turns on them again. What's going on? What side do you think he's on?

This is a good question. I want to think she at least has good and unselfish intentions. When she told Jin that Sun was not expecting his child, this was really rotten. But she wants to save Sun, and we see in the flash forward that Sun was saved.

Juliet is neither an Other or a survivor. There is only one side she should be on - her own. She has to look out for herself because there is no one else to look out for her. Except Jack. I believed him when he said they were in this together, which is why I have a problem seeing him leave her behind on the island.

Hmmm yes, surely if Jack gets off the island she should also get off the island? Because if Ben found a reason to persuade her to stay then I'm sure he'd have no problem killing Jack! I'm not sure if she does get off the island though because we didn't see a flash forward of her off it and she's had her episode!

I most definitely do not trust Juliet at all. I think she would betray Jack, the losties, the others, whoever in a heartbeat to get off of the Island to be with her sister & nephew. She is miserable on the Island. I do however think that she is struggling with her place right now because she really is falling for Jack. I'm leaning more towards that she will eventually be fully on the Losties side, but right now I'd watch my back if I were any one of the survivors of Oceanic flight 815!!

If Jack does leave Juliet behind on the island, I think it will be because he either believes she's dead or that she's betrayed him somehow. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see her convince Jack that she betrayed him in order to get Ben to let him go.
No Jack or no Juliet on the island means there is no doctor there. I think one of them will have to stay behind.

Oh yeah I just had another thought about Juliet that slipped my mind before - if she knows how Ben acts around men she fancies, then why did she say TO him 'He's cute' about Jack when she first saw him??

I don't trust her either. We still don't know what Ben said to her after Jack tried to kill Ben on the operating table. Remember how Ben wanted to have a few minutes alone with Juliet, he spoke to her for a few mins - it looked pretty intense. What did he say to her? I think that she is just watching her own back, because she does want to be with her sister & nephew. She knows way more than what she lets on.

Juliet told Jack what Ben said to her when he was on the table. He told her she could go home if she helped Sawyer and Kate escape. She did. She and Jack were both supposed to get to leave the island in the sub Locke blew up.

Oh yeah. But, and I may be very wrong here, she looked kinda sad when Ben told what she had to do. I should really watch it again, but I seem to remember that she hung her head down low and appeared to have been given some rather grim news / instructions. maybe I should just watch it again. Am I just barking up the wrong tree? (woof woof)

I truly believe Juliet is a good person and does WANT to be on the Losties side...but that being said, I know the only thing that drives her to do what Ben asks is her desire to be with her sister and nephew...and of course the safety of her sister and nephew. She knows full well of what Ben is capable.

I would NOT trust Juliette, mainly b/c she is tied in with Benjamin Linus. This guy controls people any way possible.
I wonder why she doesn't kill Ben when she gets a chance?

Juliette has ended up being one of my favourite characters.
I love the expressions on her face, she always has a slight smirk on her face which makes it hard for me to believe she is ever 100% sincere.
I'd like her to be one of the good guys, but she far too untrustworthy.
It seems to me that either what we have been shown of her life outside the island has so far been a lie, or at the very least we are missing a huge chunk of very significant information from her previous life.
I say this because the background story we are given of her as a rather niave & timorous fertility doctor who is lovingly devoted to her seriously ill sister and intimidated by her ex, does not sit well with what we see of her when she is actually called into action. We know that she is a proven deceiver, both in relation to the Survivors and also apparently with Ben and the Others too.
She also appears to have some level of training in martial arts or some kind of unarmed combat technique.
Most telling of all, is that she is a killer.
We first get a hint of this during Kate and Sawyer's time at the Hydra.
During a fracas, Sawyer mentions to Kate that most of the Others seem to be shaken at the conforntation and don't have much of a stomach for a fight in them But he notes "that woman" (ie. Juliette) would have killed Kate in a second if she had to, no problem.
Juliette later proves Sawyer right by killing Pickett with little hesitation.
So here we have a woman who is not only skilled in deception and unarmed combat, but is quite capable of killing someone should the need arise.
You could argue that she is simply determined to do what it takes to get home. But it's the way she is able to stay so cool and calm in such life or death situations, her unflinching & efficient manner in dispatching her enemies.
As a fertility doctor, she is supposed to create life. But she seems equally adept at taking it. Possibly the deaths of so many pregnant women on the island has hardened her. But she's too much of an unknown quantity for me at this point. There's a whole lot about her we have yet to uncover.
I'm starting to think she may be working for a 3rd party in all of this.
Perhaps she was sent to infiltrate the Others by the Widmore faction?

Yeah... I don't trust her either. Like when she told Jack that the poisen gas station was a power station. She keeps switching sides and she always seems to know more than everyone else... like when Harper appeared and they were talking about Ben. She seems to still be considered by the others as one of them, even though she doesn't want to be.
