I was reading a discription of Michael's apartment and it says a run down apartment in Manhatten. Do they have run down apartments in Manhatten now? It looks to me to be from a long time ago. I know I have said it before but why does everything look to be from the late sixties early seventies.

Exactly. Manhattan is known for it's upper class. But as any place where the rich stay also the not so rich also have their sections of the land. Because you can't run people out of their homes just because "hey we are reavating Manhattan" So you need to move. They have the right to stay as well.

Yeah, that's true.


And he wasn't working as far as we know so his apt was cheaply decorated, making look older & more rundown.
