It just occurred to me that when Harper says, "If you continue to have a relationship with Goodwin, there will be consequences, I don't want him to get hurt"(we assume that she's talking about Goodwin , maybe she is talking about Ben)
and Julliette says "I would never hurt him" then Harper says '"I'm not talking about you, I'm talking about Ben" (getting hurt).
Maybe she means that she doesn't want Ben to get hurt, not that she is worried about Goodwin.
>then after Goodwin's death....
When Ben talks about "everything that he did to get Julliette to the island", and says "you're mine"(maybe he's not thinking about her in a wierd sexual way, but as a doctor that won't be taken away from him, no matter what the other people do to threaten him)
I'm sort of wondering if Harper is the one that killed Goodwin. for Ben. and wants Julliette to be with Ben, because Ben wants Julliette to stay on the island. (and Harper will kill anyone who stands in the way of Ben keeping Julliette, including Goodwin, or Jack)

i understand what you are saying but either way at the end of the day, ben feels juliet belongs to him in whatever way that may be and goodwin had to be removed from the equation in order to help ben maintain that feeling of owning her.
i am sure we saw ana lucia kill goodwin though although the first half of season 2 is geting a little hazy already and with the plane crashing, i think ben saw an immediate opportunity to get rid of goodwin for a while so it was an on the spot decision rather than forward planning. however, once he saw how the survivors were reacting, he left goodwin in their camp in the hope that eventually they would turn on him and he would be wiped out for good.

Interesting thought, but I'm still convinced Ben is truly a nut case with a warped sense of wrong/right.
He's definitely a social retard that has no idea how to win over Juliette without going primal and killing off the competition.
Harper being a shrink would have to be very aware of Ben's character flaws which is why she was so afraid of what he would do.

Ana Lucia did indeed kill Goodwin before our eyes.

She did?, I missed it. Sorry. when did that happen?

Ana Lucia did kill Goodwyn! But it's interesting you say about not wanting Ben to get hurt - cos I thought that initially, but now I just think it's as plain as it was in the episode. And I do think Ben thinks Juliet is his in more than a doctor way - cos he was staring at her and trying to hold her hand etc. Whether it's a sexual thing I don't know, I think it could be just a longing for closeness to someone who looks like his mother.

I kinda got the idea that Harper never really cared for Goodwin so it would make sensethat she was talking about Ben

Harper doesn't seem to have a personality.

actually i think goodwin IS the one harpers talking about when she says she doesnt want HIM to get hurt. if you look back after she says "i dont want him to get hurt" juliette replies "i would never..." and harper interrupts saying "not you, ben". what harper is saying is, your not the one im worried about hurting HIM (goodwin) juliette, im worried about ben hurting him...
i think they make it so confusing just to mess with us
