No Kat Richardson this year :-(

According to her LJ (http://katatomic.livejournal.com/130402.html), Kat Richardson had to bow out of this year's D*C, in favor of family and writing the next book in her Greywalker series. I'm sorry to not get to meet her this year -- she's the scariest storyteller ever to hook me on the first page, and after some of her novels I'm left with dueling moods of "satisfied glee" versus "sleep with a weapon ready to hand" -- and I hope next year is better for her (and her loved ones) all 'round.
