Not sure if this topic has been hashed (and re-hashed)....

Hugo seems to see Charlie (who is dead per the show) who claims he is dead but still alive. There seems to be a reference to that with the Rabbit (#15) disapparating (well not Harry potter term)...i.e. suddenly appearing out of no where.

Are these having any reference to Parallel Worlds or Parallel Lives - a controversial theory of quantum mechanics that predicts the existence of Parallel Universes?

I have a feeling its leaning more toward the idea of time travel and/or worm holes. But we can't be sure yet of anything they're talking about haha.

I don't think anyone can even know that at this point, unless of course we start to send the writers fan mail. LOL, I don't think they get any. This show is way over everyones head, unless you know everything there is to possibly know about the Bible and time travel, oh and you can see the future like Dez.

I guess we'd have to wait eh! time travel is likely and as u said...the lost creators are gonna keep us guessing until they actually reveal it!:)

i like the idea of the flash forwards being an alternate reality but think that charlie is haunting hurley rather than him being there - think the fact that he 'sees' into the ocean and charlie is swimming there when he is actually in a police station would back that up.
