dude, we clarified this a while ago, Jacks dad is the one in the chair, but he isn't Jacob, Jacob is Jacob LOL. I'm getting tired of sayin that!

I know he isn't Jacob... I know 100% that Jacob is Jacob... but nobody CONFIRMED that it was Jack's dad in the rocking chair, I thought people just guessed, cuz I didn't see any pictures like this one.

have been reading a lot of posts about jacob and jacks dad and if it isnt him, why do people see different versions, like locke sees him as some with long hair dressed in old garb, like the pirate ship times.......but hurley sees him as jack's dad......does locke see him as jacks dad now?????or do different people always see him as their own manifestation and it never changes for them........

To answer that I personally think that it was in fact the true Jacob that Locke saw in the chair when he went to the cabin with Ben (bc even Ben confirmed that) but we don't know that Christian Shepard is Jacob JUST because he was sitting in the same chair....I think maybe the random eye we saw could have been Jacob and haha christian was just hangin out (lol i have no clue) but yah thats what I think :p

The chair Jack's dad is sitting in is not the same chair we saw Jacob in and Jack's dad and the chair are not in the same cabin we saw Jacob in - go back to last season and look at the cabin and the chair and you'll see they are very different.

In last seasons final episode when Jack was freakin' out at the hospital didn't he say "get me Dad down here"?? I remember something like that because his Dad is dead....right????

I think that the coffin Jack went to visit was his Fathers?? Maybe his Dad is one of the 6??
