Who's on the frieghter?

I had a thought that maybe the people on the freighter are affiliated with Dharma because the food was being dropped by Dharma supposedly for years,because they figured all is well because the button had always been pushed,But when the whole blowing up of the hatch thing happened maybe they had to send people out to see why.This would explain why the charater "Faraday" who parachuted in(s4e1) says in all the preveiws that rescuing you people is not our main objective.just a thought any more thoughts?

ya, I thought so too. This wouldn't explain the Desmond connection though. Dharma didn't employ Desmond, they didn't know he was there... So why was Naiomie carrying a picture of him withher and why did she say his name when she landed?

Yeah I thought that didn't click either,maybe Mr.Widmore has something to do it.Just when you thinkl you've got something figured out it just raises another question.I guess why this is so fun.

she probably learned about Desmond the same way that Ben learned about the entire 815 flight. I still don't think they are connected to Desmond or Penny in anyway, I could easily be wrong. Penny's father may play some role as he has a ton of money, but what would he want with Desmond, how could he find him and how could he find the island.
