No Claire will not stay. Remember Dez told Charlie he saw Claire and Aaron get on the helicopter. She could die on the trip home. Or Dez was lying to Charlie or he seen her get on the copter in a body bag.

maybe Desmond didnt see the helicopter take off and maybe something happens like she was just put aaron in the helicopter or something maybe?:confused:

No, Claire stays because she's got to fall off the helicoptor or something to that effect. Des' visions are choppy, so I do think she will attempt.
And the reason remains undisclosed as yet as to why the psychic in season one was adamant Claire raise the baby herself. I think he saw the plane crash and if she were to die, why would he even put her on the plane in the first place?

Maybe she falls in love with a polar bear, and decides to stay on the island for that reason.

Claire falls for Keamy and wants to stay on the island forever. Keamy says she can only hang with him if she losses the baggage, so she dumps Aaron on Kate and takes off.

Claire stays because Ben takes her captive. She gives Aaron to Kate to take back to mainland and give him a normal life.

Maybe it's Aaron that Ben is ultimately after and Claire is meant to stay there on the island with them but secretly devises a plan to get him off the island with Kate.... Idk, just a very quick thought after reading the above:rolleyes:
