Did anyone else find it odd how when Miles gave Ben the phone he acted like he didn't know Keamy and the rest of them? He was on the same freighter as them. Another liar or a part of Ben's plan?

...I think Miles and the other 3 hitched a ride with the freighter crew and have their own agenda - the Orchid. Keamy and his people are just there to get Ben and wipe out anyone who gets in their way. IMHO

that would imply they knew things about the island prior to
going there then. Charlotte might know something. I think Miles just wanted the money, though
why was Miles the one who was put in to tell Michael that everyone
was lying about something? doesnt that suggest he is lying

It is almost like Miles didn't sign up for all of this. I wonder if Miles isn't another of Ben's spies. A spy to spy on another spy.

Well, remember the meeting Naomi had with (forgot his name) the tall guy who posed as a rep from Oceanic to Hugo in the asylum... he implied that the four scientists were novices to what they are up to and needed looking after because they were likely to get themselves killed or something... I think they are somewhat in the dark as to the enormity of what's going on... but I still don't like Miles. He's creepy.

But really....what you said about him being the spy to spy on Michael makes sense!!
