They way they had them with their faces sticking out of the earth it was like they became a part of the Island.

LostFreak....i kinda like that. Its very interesting and i never woulda thought that. If they are part of the island when they die then they are trapped in a type of purgitory thing.

Who buried them? I'm sure Keemy and his men didn't take time to give them a proper burial!!

Oh, I'm not so sure...why were the bodies buried?? and by whom??? Keamy works for Widmore, he could care less about Danielle and Karl. There is no reason for him and the surviving members of his team to bury them. Ben couldn't have done it because a) Alex didn't tell him where they were hit on the way to the Temple. b) he's with Locke and Hurley trying to find the cabin. and c) Alex is the only one of the three that he truly cares about, so he would probably bury Alex, but Danielle and Karl would stay where they fell.
The only explanation IMO that makes sense is Danielle is alive. Danielle had little reason to trust Ben---probably only would trust that Ben would try to protect Alex. She has military type equipment-- probably a vest of some type, similar to Charlotte's. My guess is after all the shooting stopped, and she may well have seen Alex killed, she could have dragged one of the ones that were killed at Locke's camp to the area where they were ambushed. Buried the female body and Karl just shallow enough to be found. Take a look at the face of the supposed "Danielle" the facial features are wrong...the bridge of the nose of the buried "Danielle" is much wider than the actual Danielle. Also, Sawyer only called out Karls name and did he really get a good enough look at "Danielle"??? He was trying to shield Claire from seeing the bodies. So, my guess this ain't the end for Danielle quite yet.

Well, I kinda think they ARE dead since the whispers creepy Miles started hearing were supposed to be theirs, right? I'm fairly certain all the whispers from the beginning have been dead people. BTW, Miles just got turdier when he laughed off Claire's disappearance with his restraining order remark, don'tcha think? What a little poop!

Miles is able to see things like a medium. Its not the whispers he's hearing, its that he's reliving what happened. If you can play the scene back with Closed Captioning, when you do it states that Alex is talking. He is standing right where the ambush happened. He feels and hears it happening. Think back to Miles' other flashbacks---each time he is seeing exactly what happened when it happened. That's why he is so damn smug...he knows what people have done, because he has seen it. Miles may know more than he's letting on. And my previous points still stand....why were they buried and by whom??? By burying the bodies---Danielle is free to hunt Keamy and Co. down---they think she's dead. No one will be looking for her, which gives her adequate cover to go after them.
