Jack, Kate, Juliet, and the razor

Did everyone see when Jack was in the bathroom, and Kate was in the shower. She said she bought him a razor, and he said something like "You don't like the scruff?" Then he kind of just looks at the razor and smiles. Do you think he was thinking about Juliet? She shaved his stomach fro the operation. Jack and Juliet kind of had a moment then (he says how long has it been since you done this; surgery or shaved a man's stomach).

Do you think Jack is having feelings for Juliet in the flash forwards? Just a thought.

They did put some emphasis on that razor scene...but I'm not sure why yet. I guess it could be him just remembering the surgery, idk yet.

Before Jack had his surgery, did he seem to be wary of Juliet ? I started to wonder if he wasn't trusting Juliet or if he was just showing that side of him that can't let go enough to believe a woman isn't going to fail him somehow.

There's very little we know about Jack's mom and dad when he was growing up. I don't think you can blame parents for the bad choices their children make, but doesn't it seem that Jack had some big trust issues way before the island came along? Jack is such a mess that I wonder what being raised was like for him. He knows how to make love, he just doesn't know what it takes to sustain it. He, like Michael is in a destructive meltdown pattern. As long as he is messed up, the island won't let him come back, IMO and he's ripe for becoming someone's puppet.

I think Jack was concerned because he thought she was going to be cutting him in the wrong place! Remember, he said "you do know that the incision needs to be 2" lower don't you?"

I think he was just freaking out a little thinking that she is a baby doctor, not a surgeon.

I felt like the razor scene was to throw us off the order of this flash forward. I initially thought this flash forward was after the season 3 finale flash forward, and the razor was supposed to get us to think Jack shaved his beard.

What I noticed is that when Jack found out about Kate and Sawyer on the island he was upset but he didnt freak out like he did when off the island. His off island tantrum was alot like his trantrums with Sarah.
