Last nights show was great I just have a few more questions. if anyone can help it would be great. where to start?

Flash fowards hurley with Sun after she had the baby. when was that before Hurley was in St. Rosa? Also we found out that Charlie still comes to see him. Are we going to see Charlie again in the future you think?

Jack on the bridge trying to jump off has to take place after last nights show right. Jack talking to Kate at the Airport saying he is flying all the time is after too. What if the person in the Coffin is Hurley what if he kills his self just to make it all stop. i don't know i have to get ready for work

There is no way that is Hurley in the coffin. The coffin was a normal size coffin and Hurley is a large man they would have had to use an oversized coffin.

well i have been hearing on these boards that the flashforwards are going in reverse order.. last nites episode kinda put a kink in that theory.

I don't think it's Hurley in the coffin for many reasons....but I'll keep it short and say that Kate would have shown some emotion when Jack was talking to her about it, and Hurley was well liked and had family and friends..people would have ben at the funeral service, no doubt.

I definitely think that the scene at the airport was after the engagement.. I'm reallly worried everyone is dead :(

I agree. At the end of the episode, Kate looks very upset at Jack, and that all seems to be the beginning of his downward spiral, the scenes at the hospital, stealing pills, attempting to jump off the bridge, etc.
I think Jack is starting to go crazy, and he then starts taking the pills to numb himself. However, he was not working at the same hospital in the other scenes. Maybe he gets fired from the place he was working at last night. Seemed like a cancer center, maybe related to HANSO??

As for the bloody nose on the guy in the preview, two possibilities, that was from the injury he sustained when he died 12 years ago, I think all their noses started to bleed, but it is also similar to the situation that happened when people did not have a constant. Like Desmond on the freighter, when his nose started to bleed.
Then he contacted Penny and all was good.
I think Penny is going to turn out to be a bad person.

I feel like they may not be really dead but are dead inside. The Island seems to give everyone there life back with good feelings. Off the Island it is like they are slowly dying and all of their issues seemed to be magnified.

The way I think the FF timeline is. Please don't beat me up to bad for mot knowing the episode titles.

#1. Hurley goes to see Sun and the Baby
#2. Kate is on trial, jack testifies and she is aquitted
#3. Jack sees Hurley and the sanitarium and they play BB
#4. Jack revisits Hurley in sanitarium and proposes to Kate (last night's ep)
#5. Jack and Kate meet at the airport and he tells her that they have to go back.

#2 and #3 could be either way. I am not sure of their order but the others have to go in that order.

Since we are looking at the Jack/Kate timeline I didn't include the ones about Sayid and Ben. The episodes about the four new characters, Miles, Faraday, Charlotte, and Frank were flash backs as well as the "Meet Kevin Johnson" one. The time travel episode could have gone either way to since they were talking about time travel. DIdn't you watch back to the future?

Did I miss an episode?

His nose was bloody because thats what it was like when they died. If I remember correctly, didn't their noses bleed when they breethed in the gas? It could be that he looks the same as when he died.

Did anyone else see Jack looking at the X-ray of a patient with a tumor in the "L4" region, the same place Ben had his tumor? I'm really starting to think that Ben's tumor comes back once he's off the island, and that it's Ben whose funeral Jack attends. That would explain why Kate wasn't interested in going to the funeral. If Jack and Ben were in contact off the island (not unlikely since Jack would have access to Sayid, and Sayid works for Ben), Jack might have come to see Ben's stance on the island situation. Regardless, he might go to Ben's funeral to gain a little closure. If Ben and/or Sayid clued Jack in on the "evil" Widmore/Hanso/Dharma/whatever goings-on affecting those still stuck on the island, it could explain Jack wanting to go back. We know from the Ben & Widmore conversation that no one can find the island in the future. This inability to relocate the island could explain Kate's stoicism on the issue of going back (since it seems unlikely that her character would willfully leave others to suffer on the island, let alone to willfully separate Claire from Aaron).

But how did Ben get the tumor in the first place when he was on the island?

It does make sense that if it was Ben's funeral, Jack would be upset because he thinks that Ben is his way back to the island to save his friends.

But what if Kate realized that Hurley's 'craziness' (Charlie's message, Jack's desire to return to the island) was the reason for Jack's downfall? Hmmm...

She might not like Hugo all that much if she finds that he's responsible for breaking them up.

They did mention that Hurley hadn't been eating as well and if he died penniless and crazy, they might just stuff him into a regular coffin instead of going to the expense of a special one.

The more and more I think about it, I believe it is Ben in the coffin too. It would explain the unknown name in the obituary that we see in Jack's hand in that episode when he goes to the funeral home (John something)?? Maybe that was one of Ben's aliases that he uses when travelling off the island. Maybe he was killed while off of the island and had a passport on him with that fake name or other ID with a fake address on it and was put in that funeral home because it was in the neighbourhood either where he dies or where his alias resided? That would explain partly too why no one was there. Not only for the fact that no one likes Ben, but no one would know it was really him in the coffin if his alias was used in the obituary. Jack must have known Ben's alias some how......Thoughts?

I don't think Jack would be under the assumption that Ben was interested in saving his friends. If anything if it were Ben, Jack might be upset because Ben was his best option for getting back on the island.

Hard to believe almost a year has passed since the S3 finale.

Does anyone know the date when Jack and Kate are at the airport ??? Cause remember that in the last ep, it shows Ben in October 05...Correct ? Now, not unless there is some time between when they get off the island and this show, it can't be Ben in the coffin.....
