What if, and I may be stretching things a bit here, but what if when Hurley says to Jack that he will be having a visitor soon that he is referring to Claire?

It kind of makes since. Hear me out. We know that Charlie has been visiting Hurley at the sanitarium. We also know that Claire and Charlie became very close right before Charlie drowned. We also know that Jack and Claire are really brother and sister. Here is the stretching part. What if Charlie and Claire are together in the afterlife (assuming that after last night's episode that Claire is dead) and Charlie tells Hurley to tell Jack that Claire will be paying him a visit?

Jack assumes Hurley is talking about Christian but what if Claire shows up and tells him that they are bro & sis and that Aaron is his biological nephew? This kind of sends him over the edge and he begins to go crazy after that. I am thinking that Claire visits him during last night's episode.

so, if claire and charlie are dead, who is suppose to raise aaron? maybe his biological father? who is his father anyhow? do we even know yet? wow! maybe we know him and don't even realize it!!!

Im not sure but i think Hurley was referring to Christian..

Also I got the feeling when Jack told Kate "Your not even related to him!" that he knows Aaron is his nephew.

Given that Christian visited Jack shortly after that I'd say you're right.

i don't beleive Claire is dead. Sawyer chose to stay on the island so others may have too....that said, in season 1 the psyhic told Claire only she can raise him if he is to be safe. having her dead makes Claires season 1 ordeal mute and takes away a giant plot line of getting her to him or HIM TO HER.......in addition Jack originally did not want contact with Aaron and developed a substance abuse problem. these would go along the line of someone who is involved with a kidnapping and feeling guilty over it, the next emotion would then be wanting to be his guardian (stand in father)

I believe that the substance abuse witnessed in the Season 3 finale came after last night's flashback. IMO last night's episode is the beginning of that abuse.

I think something will be revealed about Aaron that will explain Jack's reluctance to be around him, I don't think his current status with Kate has anything to do with being kidnapped by anyone.

ya, the switch from not wanting to even see Aaron to being his bedtime story reading father figure is interesting.

the only thing not answered is Desmond's vision of Claire and Arron both getting on the helicopter.

Very true cheapshot. Also, I might be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure I saw Claire and the baby in one of the scenes from the preview for next weeks episode......it was a quick flash and she was sitting beside Sun. I remember this because Sun had a big smile on her face and seemed so happy. I'm going to try and get a screen shot of this. Anyways, Claire is not dead yet.....I think if she dies it's going to be right before she gets on the heli.
