The frontrunner, according to the way things are looking, is his dad- Christian Shepard.

I think it's a false lead. Other possibilites could be

---claire
---charlie?
---Abbadon

the previews for next weeks' show didn't give any clues that I saw.

any ideas???

Christian sitting on the couch for7 seconds wasn't much of a visit. Jack isn't even sure if it was real. Doesn't he think he's losing it? Is Hurley's metal problem rubbing off on Jack. Seeing a friend from a tramatic experience would cause Jack to get emotional. That type of "appearance" has happened before. I was under the impression that a person was going to contact Jack and deliver a message of some importance.

Charlie was meeting with Hurley on the Bench at Santa Rosa and told him Jack was coming. That's pretty specific info. The message that Charlie made Hurley write down so he wouldn't "mess it up " has to be more important than a sighting that may or may not be Jack's imagination.

It is if the visitor is dead!

what do you mean LF21?

it is what if he's dead? jack has seen his dead dad before...

During the episode last night, i kept thinking we would get to see this "visitor". Then the show concluded, and we were like" I guess they're saving it for the next show. I never considered the shot of Christian on the couch to be the event Hurley spoke of. Did Jack see his dad at the beginning of the show, before he visited Hurley in the hospital. The sightings weren't much different. I took them to be precursors to the meeting, like something they wanted to build up.

Maybe I am thinking too much, but I was expecting some revelation.

Does anyone else think the VISIT has not happened yet???
