Doc says Claire is a ghost???

I was reading Doc Jenson's episode recap and he had this strange theory that Claire actually died in the explosion in her house and she has been dead this whole time. I dont buy it. What do you guys think?

That would certainly fit with what I've been posting since this morning about the key is Austrailia. It is about Aboriginal Dreamtime. They believe that the past, present and future are all occuring at the same time, among other beliefs.

She was acting weird when sh, Aaron, Sawyer and Miles were walking through the jungle. She said "At least I'm not seeing things anymore." If I recall, I think she also said she was feeling dizzy. Miles asked to hold Aaron and said he was really good with kids. That cracked me up!

She may have seen Charlie, when Sawyer picked her up from her house she thought he was Charlie.

IIRC every vision that Desmond saw that did actually happen the viewers saw as well. I don't recall however if the viewers saw Desmond's vision about Claire.

If not, perhaps he was not telling the truth.

no i don't belive this there is not way she dies because LOCKE, BEN, & HURLEY saw her and i mean how would a ghost carry a baby through the woods? I mean ok Miles might see something that i coming but i can't see it being true. My Question is Miles saw Christian can he tell the difference between a ghost or person? He told sawyer that Clarie left with that Man she calls dad. just a thought if you can help let me know thanks

There was a scene deleted from 409 where she was dreaming about
Charlie and this is why she said his name when Sawyer found her.

Shes definately not a ghost. Sawyer couldn't carry a ghost and a
ghost couldnt carry a baby. I think its a stupid theory to be honest.

Claire has been prone to strange things happening to her since she
came to the island and this is just another one of them.

There is nothing to indicate that she is actually dead

Ever since we have found out that Aaron and Kate get off the island and Claire does not, people have been saying she will die tonight, week after week. Yet, we are being led to beleive that Claire is sopposed to raise Aaron. She cant do that if shes dead! We have learned that Sawyer is still alive in the future, so why not Claire. There could be hundreds of reasons why she didnt or couldnt get off the island, but she could still be alive. Not to mention, if she was dead then she wouldnt be carrying aaron around the jungle with her. In my oppinion Christian came to Claire, just like the other guy is talking to Locke in next weeks eposode, so would that mean lockes dead too? Im thinkin no. I just dont think its time for Claire to die and i dont think she has already, it just wouldnt make any sense.

What if she is actually dead and it's Aaron's and Claire's mutual bond or Aaron's unknown power that keeps her "alive" in the spirit sense. Then Miles summons Christian and he lures her away by taking Aaron so that she will follow him to wherever the dead spirits go. Once this happens Aaron is left crying by the tree. Miles just seemed so content that it could have been business as usual as he exorcises those who don't want to leave and don't know that they are dead. Sad thought about Claire.

I think she is dead and they have done it in a way as not to shock us because she is a mother of a baby and she is gentle and kind and peaceful and we all love her, so no shocking death. That does explain why she called Sawyer Charlie, and seemed confused, under the guise of "bomb shock". I believe she is in the casket at the funeral. At first I thought it was Jin. Miles is psychic and knows more than letting on to. He knows the baby needs to be safe and Aaron was suppose to be raised by Claire. Does Claire shapeshift into Kate?? He has a real good connection to the dead, or maybe he is an angel of a guidance kind, to help people cross over? Sort of a protector?

We see christian holding aaron. The writers can make there ghosts anyway they like. And now we know that the ghost on the island can interact with people. Im not saying i buy in to this theory but the more i think about the more reasonable it seems. And Doc Jenson has been right a lot in the past, he doesnt shoot out theorys lightly. Besides its the only reasonable explaination I can come up with for her leaving aaron.

That's messed up if Claire is Kate, lol. So then Jack has been sleeping with his sister? Maybe that's why he's so screwed up, lol. I don't really know what to believe anymore. For all we know, they are all dead like Hurley said and all died in the original crash, that was supposedly staged. Of course, that is why I love being Lost.

Shapeshift? Okay, Carlton, Damon, and the writers are juggling the following metaphysical theories in the show, while still making it somewhat believable:

Time travel and teleportation
Ghosts and other non-corporeal entities
a Smoke Monster
the island healing people
ageless people

And you think they would want to throw in shapeshifting into this as well? I don't.

Dharmalost and I are thinking along the same lines except about the shapeshifting. Remember how Miles was touchy and casting furtive glances at Claire holding the baby? Several people have said that when he offered to hold Aaron they thought it was totally out of character and they wouldn't let him hold a toothpick (well, sort of). I think that Miles accomplished his plan of getting Claire away from Aaron (you can go now Claire), planted Aaron by the tree and waited until Sawyer woke up. He was just way too calm. As Missie said: Can you imagine Claire EVER leaving Aaron by a tree, alone in the forest? This is not Hansel and Gretel, folks! I'm keeping the Kleenex handy now it's just too sad to deal with.
