When Faraday and they gang enter the Staff, he asked,"where is all of this power coming from?" and i thought that was a good question that i havnt even thought of. Where is all the power coming from that powers the island and such hatches like the Staff?

Didn't Jack ask that question to Ben awhile back and Ben gave some sarcastic remark back about having 2 giant hamsters running on huge wheel....or something like that???

Didn't Goodwin apparanetly work at the "Power Plant"? There was also the cable Sayid found from the ocean (but that may only be related to the looking Glass.

Anyway, that said, I think Farady's question is a legit one for a scientist, because other than the chemical faility, he as not seen all of the hatches, etc. on the island, so his curiosity is peeked. I also think this a precursor to other stations to revealed and a reminder that there is one that provides power.

Goodwin worked at the chemical station. I'm guessing the power source is geothermal in nature.

Speaking of the chemical plant, did he not wonder where all the energy was comming from powering that place? It sure was using alot more than the medical lab.
