I dunno, but it doesn't seem like she knows either Sun or Jin is related to Paik, but if she really is just an anthropologist tracking the Dharma connection or the island's ancient connection, then I doubt she would be aware of their relationship to Paik.

I don't just guessing. But lots of us have been looking for Paik's connection to the island. Maybe she's it.

(when she came to the island her 1st words to the Losties were something like "Oh so some of you did survive..." and wanted all the goss on how they survived, etc...) So I'm thinking then...could Paik have planted her there to find his daughter???

Hanso has HQ in Seoul and Mr. Paik talks about Hanso
to his assocaites in one episode when the writers intentionally
didnt put in the english subtitles

She needed a translator when she was tracking that Dharma polar bear in Tunisia so it's not like she's a master of languages. But she gives out very little information - I wonder why Jin didn't ask her how she came to know Korean.

I thought there was something 'special' about their relationship when Charlotte was doing that memory test with the playing cards. I just don't see a mild-mannered guy like Dan with a shrew like Charlotte.

Yeah, Charlotte could be involved. But with Paik, or just with Widmore? Hard to say.
