So, obviously, the Tempest was not a power station. So is it strictly a weapons lab, then?

And where does this power come from?

The question about the power reminds me of that old, old schoolyard ditty:

1st person: You remind me of a man!
2nd person: What man?
1st person: The man with the power!
2nd person: What power?
1st person: The power of Voodoo!
2nd person: Who do?
1st person: YOU DO!
2nd person: Do what?
1st person: Remind me of a man....... (and so on)

I wish we all had some of that island power in our gas tanks!

From what i understand people in the U.S. have it the cheapest and complain the most!

Gas is only 3.85 a gallon

I hear in the U.K. its almost 9.00? Now thats INSANE!!! But i Cyphin out my nieghbors gas anyways so it doesnt bother me....lol, J.K!:p

That's definitely another slant on the price of gas! I can't imagine paying $ 9
for a gallon. I must sound like a complainer when you mention those prices. We need to do more wind turbines and solar panels for getting our electric power and for easing the energy crunch. I visited Israel in the 90's and almost every home had solar on their roof to heat the water. We seem to be really behind on alternate sources of energy, and finding a cleaner carbon footprint for this planet. Eisenhower said that when enough people want peace the government will have to give it to them. The same thing holds true for our energy needs.
