That tender scene on the telephone may be our only satisfaction with those two. Can't say exactly why, but I just have a sneaky suspicion they aren't going to be together.
I know - that's such a downer to contemplate... BUT, on the other hand, if there's going to be some big kiss, I don't think anyone else really qualifies; the main charactors already have had moments, and the newer ones aren't that big a deal to us... unless it's maybe Annie and Ben. I think this is a good point. Maybe Kate promised Sawyer she'd come back and that's why she didn't care about 10 years probation(or whatever amount of time), because as long as she wasn't locked up she could fulfill her ultimate goal of making it back to island. She didn't care about having to stay in California because she plans on going back to the island, taking Aaron, and staying there for good. Just an idea.
