The Lotus station

I remember watching an added scene on the DVD of Season 3 about the Lotus station. It's another orientation video, but in the filming something goes wrong and two white rabbits with the same number show up. Then the asian guy yells to shut the video off and keep the rabbits away from each other.
So....
Is the lotus station how Ben time travels everywhere? I just assumed that the rabbits are one and the same and thus can't be allowed to interact with each other (a la Richard Kelly's Southland Tales) and the DI were experimenting by sending the rabbit into the the future/past.

Thats the Orchid station...and the writers say we will learn alot more about in the finale!

You know what the rabbit thing made me think of? That Hugh Jackman movie - oh, crap! What was it called? It seems to escape me right now, but the one with the rival magicians turn of the century... they mastered replicating a person/object and it was thought with the help/inspiration of the Tezla coil... gee, something else I'd have to read up on or defer to our much more learned friends here. (I can't believe I can't even remember the title; it'll come to me about midnight...or on the toilet or something...lololol)
