OK so I finally got to watch the latest show again and as usual I found about a thousand things I missed.
1)In Lockes dream when Horace is repeatedly cutting down that tree why is his nose bleeding then not then is again?
2)When Locke wakes from his dream and shakes him, Hugo says something in his sleep. What did he say? I watched several times but I can't make it out.
3)When Locke says to Ben "I'm not you" I thought Ben said you certainly are. Did I hear right?
4) Why can't Emilly hold Locke?
5)I think Locke knew he was supposed to pick the book. Why didn't he?
6) Keamy is losing it. Shooting the Captain, murdering the Dr., breaking protocall. What's up?
7) The Captain seemed to be a decent guy. So why were Des and Saiid told not to trust him and who wrote the note?
8) When Frank loaded up the bag with the GPS/phone he put two of them in the bag. The first one he wrapped in the yellow fabric. And are the documents that were in the bag with the phone important? Shouldn't somebody at least glance at them?
9)When the helicopter flew over and the package was thrown out it came from the passenger side. If Frank had thrown it he would have tossed it out from his door. So who threw it?
10) It seems that you follow the same heading whether you are going to or comming from the Island. Whe Des tried to sail away frome the Island he kept comming back to where he started. If Desmond had turned around and headed in the exact opposite direction at the right time would he have escaped?
11) Can six people fit on the dingy that Saiid is in?
12) Why were Christian and Claire sitting in complete darkess? Dramatic effect?
13) Where the hell is Jacob?
14)Why is Hugo with Ben and Locke? Apparently he served no particular purpose.

when john fist came up on hourse and he was cutting down the tree he said hi and then something to the effect of you don't remember that's when the first nose bleed happened.
then he turned his back and when he turned back around he acted just for a moment that he saw John there for the first time, a short time later his nose bleeds again.
these are signs of time jumping.
with all that in mind hourse was a mathmatician (a similar career to Daniel who figured out the therory and side effects of time travel) Hourse could have come and gone from the island on wrong cordanance and began time jumping well befor the purge and was jumping into the future when we saw him thusday nite building A cabin, not nessesarily Thee cabin.

Desmonds nose bled when he went mind time traveling, maybe Horace was doing that too?
I'm not sure why it would start and stop.
Keamy is really out there. Maybe he is really out to stop DHARMA and Hanso and Widmore and Ben and they are all going to die because of him!

What if John is Horace's constant and that is why when he sees john his nose stops bleeding?

Ummmm... Mallowmars...
Anyhow, regarding the nosebleed. Wasn't it a dream? Why can't is just be a dream? Weird things happen in dreams, so I don't think there was anything to that... I don't think it had anything to do with time or "time loop." I think it was just a dream that lead John to the map. Why.. who knows...

I guess it's possible, but it seems that if he did throw it out of passenger side everyone on the helo would have seen him do it. Something wierd about that.

reply to # 2? Hurley IS dreaming and I find that interesting. He's not hallucinating. Has he ever been seen to talk in sleep?Another IDK
reply to #5/Is the reason that Locke didn't pick the book because the child's first rule-maker (Mom) gave him up instead of bonding and nurturing him? A lot like Ben not having his mom be there for him. Did Ben take the same test and choose the book of rules?IDK
rep. to #6 /Keamey is experiencing the 3 states of matter: liquid, solid, and gas. Solid on the boat, liquid on the island (Smokey-attack) and gas when
he gets vaporized by the final solution.
Boutte: A lot of good questions and observations there!

If you remember when Frank was getting in the helicopter, he gets in on the side that the package was thrown from. he then packs the phone and puts it to his right which would be next to the window. I assume to hide it from keamy and his posse and so it might be easier to just toss out. I didnt know that there is any specific side for a pilot in a helicopter. He was definitely on the right side though because he was flipping switches that were on his left.

1) The Horace sequance could have been a result of a time loop. But me personaly. It was in fact a dream and in dreams you can hear a message repeated many times with the same ending happening as a result to your anwser or body movment. Horace keept repiting a few lines and would end with the nose bleed then start back cutting down the same tree untill Locke finaly realized what he must do. It was the he was able to wake from his dream.
2) According to the transcript on Lostpedia Hurley was mutterling:
HURLEY: (Muttering) Mallomars
3) Ben told Locke:
BEN: He actually thinks staying was his idea. Not bad, John. Not bad at all.
"Sugesting that Locke was being manipulative"
And that was when Locke said :
LOCKE: I'm not you.
And Ben said:
BEN: You're certainly not.
4) I belive Emily couldn't hold her own flesh and blood child because she was ashamed of him like he was not planed nor wanted. Further causing Locke to grow into the man wanting to be loved in the future and we know the rest there :-)
5) I belive Locke didn't pick the book of Laws because he knew that was exactly what Richard wanted him to pick. He knew then that Richard wasn't a good man. Pluss I belive he further chose the knife because as hinted threw out the show the knife was kinda destien to Locke as wepon of choice symbolyzing the hunter.
6) I do belive Keamy is going to far. But he was a soldier and when giving a mission they will stop at nothing to get it accomplished. No matter who or what get's in the way or what percautions it takes.
7) Because that was Micahel's opion at the time. He was spying on every member on that freighter he obvisly over heard many conversations with the Cap an dmany members onbard that lead Micahel to realize that the freighter wasn't there for a rescue mission.
8) I didn't see any documents being put in the bag. Ovcourse I wasn't looking for any either. I only saw Frank put the phone in. I think when Jack receaved the phone. He simply was more concerned on finding out why it was beeping and figuring out where they wanted them to folow them to.
9)That is a good question. Unless Frank has one hell of an arm :-)
10) We don't know exactly what heading he was taking. Only if he was travling on the 325 as Ben told Michale to folow or the bearing Dan to Frank to travel 305. hmm two barings that have been proven to get you off the island. So it seems there are more than just one baring that get's you off the island.
11) Nope you'll see in the next episode what ets them off.
12) I think that was just coinsdence. It is kinda odd that Jacob's cabin only appears at night or has been visted at night.
13) Good question.
14) At the time it seemed Hugo was the way to Jacob as explained by Locke in Cabin Feaver. Hugo chose to stay afterwards on his free will.

5)I think Locke knew he was supposed to pick the book. Why didn't he?
I think Locke's mantra "Don’t tell me what I can’t do” again?" is the key. Locke does not do what he is supposed to do, he must do it out of free will. As a premie, he thrived against all odds. His teacher told him his only hope was to be a scientist, he seems to have done everything possible to reject this. After being paralyzed, he walked against all odds. Ben knows this and has used this fact to play him against Jack. Abbadon seems to have used this to his advantage as well. He knew that once he proposed to a paralyzed John the preposterous idea of going on a walkabout, that it was impossible for John to ultimately accept that he could not.

Why Emily didn't hold little baby John....
Maybe Richard was in contact with her and convinced/ threatned her to give him up for adoption...in order to make him the man he becomes.
Why is Grandma Locke such a b@#^*

Oh you asked all the questions that have been on my mind too!
The guy who plays Keamy is really good - he looks SO cold and pure evil, he could well be sick - I mean he killed the doctor - and if you had any sense you wouldn't kill the only doctor on your freighter!

More things I just noticed is that Horace told Locke,
1
"You gotta find me john. And when you do you'll find him. Locke asks who and Horace says "Jacob. He's been waiting for a real long time"
Well guess what no Jacob. Christian is there with Claire and tells John he's not Jacob "..but I can speak on his behalf". Why wasn't Jacob there?
Is it because Ben didn't go in with Locke?
2
And when they went to the pit they showed the skeleton with the bullet hole in it's head again. They show this very clearly every time they show the pit. Any signifigance to this or are TPTB just F'n with our heads again.

When they're carrying the body of Smoky's victim Des says 'that ain't your man. That's no gun shot shot wound.'
What the hell does that mean? Who is Des's man and why would they expect gunshot wounds?
I'm so confused!

Maybe they keep showing the skeleton with the bullet hole in his head because if everyone was gassed then what the heck happened to that person? In the purge, they gassed 'em all. So I thought.

9)When the helicopter flew over and the package was thrown out it came from the passenger side. If Frank had thrown it he would have tossed it out from his door. So who threw it?
If you look, when they are loading up the chopper, Frank gets in on the left side of the chopper.... He had that window half down... When we see the chopper flying over the beach, the bag also came from the left side of the chopper. I think that frank threw it out the door of the cockpit....
Hope that helps

Yes, Frank did fly the chopper from the same side that the package was thrown from. Scratch that question.
Good point TQ. Why kill the only medical guy you have? The guy is losing it.

I was thinking maybe it was someone from Dharma who had a hand in the purge and then had the guilts. Committed suicide? Dunno. Odd place to shot ones self in the head though, or is it? I can't remember exactly where the bullet hole was. On the side of the farhead or something? If Ben dug their grave then I bet he knows!
