I say it's a good chance it is Michael on that freighter as the spy!!! No way would Ben just let Michael and Walt go like it was nothing.....they cut a deal of some sort.

It's gotta be a little more complicated then just Michael and him making a deal. First of all, rememeber, Ben doesn't want them coming to the island. Second of all, that scary black dude set up a team of people for specific reasons (who knows why yet). But I definitely don't think its simple as Michael and him making a deal. I don't think Michael would EVER even THINK about going back there, let alone getting close haha.

Very possible. Read that Michael is suppose to make an appearance in episode 8, didn't really understand why, but this would be a good theory.

Yup. This is not a bunch of newbs planning this mission. They are organized and have money. If Michael were picked up, giving the secrecy of the mission and its apparent importance, they would not let him just use communication equipment. In my view, that would be amature. Someone with the proper access, lets say someone with the given security clearance would be able to however. That would be Bens spy in my view.
