For those of you that love X-Men as much as I do, I thought you would be interested to know that two new mutants in the upcoming X-Men movie (X-Men Origins: Woverine) will be played by some familar faces.

Our beloved dead Charlie, Dominic Monaghan, will be playing the role of Beak. In the original story line Beak had bird like features. However, rumor has it the movie Beak will not have bird like features but instead the abilty to manipulate electricity.

Our newly hated villian Keamy, Kevin Durand, will be playing the role of The Blob.

However, Im most excited about the Sawyer look alike actor, Taylor Kitsch, playing my favorite character Gambit.

Awesome! I look forward to it!

That's great that they'll have Gambit in the movie. Wonder if they'll actually show Jubilee again. She showed up like briefly in the 2nd X-men movie i think??? She was in class with Professor X??

I will have to do some more research to see if she will be in the new movie, but she was in I think the second one, and she was in a deleated scene.

What!? Shouldn't someone like Hurley be playing The Blob? That's really weird to think that someone of his muscular body type would be playing a big fat guy...

I know, thats what I thought. I think Keamy would be better off playing Deadpool, who will also being appearing in the movie.

You beat me to it Missie. I was gonna say even though he isn't a Lostie, Ryan Reynolds will be playing Deadpool. I personally think he is perfect for the role, and if anyone else has read any Deadpool comics I think they would agree.

You really think so? I have never really been a fan of Ryan Reynolds to be honest.

Now, for some eye candy for the gentlemen, Lynn Collins will be playing Silver Fox. You may know this beautifull face from the movie "The Number 23" in which she played the hot sucide blonde.

I do think Reynolds will do justice to Deadpool. I am a fan of his work, but besides that I think he will do well because in some of the Deadpool comics Deadpool often talks to himself, he is also the only Marvel character who knows he is actually a Marvel character, in one issue he says "If they ever make a movie about me I want Ryan Reynolds to play me" or something along those line. It seems the writes had Ryan Reynolds in mind when writing Deadpool the way they did, and I think its cool how Reynolds is now playing him. Sorry all I'm rambling, I'm also very excited for the Wolverine movie.

I've seen the guy who will be playing Gambit in 2 things. 1. The couple episodes of Friday Night Lights that I caught. 2. Snakes on a Plane (Yes, Snakes on a mother fuc*ing plane!). I haven't seen him really act in either of the two. Anyone know about his acting skills??

No I have never heard of him until now. He is goodlooking though. Im wondering how big of a part Gambit will play in this movie. If they are hiring an actor noone has heard of my guess is very little, which makes me sad.

It makes me sad also Missie, Wolverine is my favorite character ever, but Gambit is up there too. I'm guessing he will have a limited role which sucks. I say that because in the comics the main portion of Gambit's storylines revolve around his relationship with Rogue, a relationship that has not been established in any of the X-Men films, nor is she in the Wolverine Origin film.

Hopefully the movie is better than the let down movie of the century that was X Men 3.

Well put snow, X Men 3 was a huge disappointment! (In my opinion of course)

Will Halley Berry be storm again??

Storm is my personal fav.

Slightly offtopic: I HATE how Rogue was written in the movies. Going by her character in the books, she could almost take on the movie baddies single handed!

And X3 sucked. Juggernaut was a major disappointment. Phoenix, too. Both characters and their origins are sooooo deep and lengthy, they make LOST look like a 3 panel midweek comic strip.

As of now Storm isn't going to be in Wolverine Origins (that I know of). I have read some things in which Halley Berry stated that if an X-4 is made she would love to play the character again.

I'm with you in hating the writing of Rogue in the movies mahalo_dude. Outside of the first movie there was bascially no point in having her character in the films at all.

right on about the juggernaut in X3 too, I can't believe they wrote in "Don't you know who I am, I'm the Juggernaut Bitch" into the movie, its from a name internet parody some stoners made.

honestly, that movie didn't just not live up to the hype, or destroy the original comic story lines, but it was just a bad movie. Same with spiderman 3 imo, it was terrible as well, and the green screen work looked like a college students film.

I agree with you guys on Rogue. She was always my favorite female charater. I surprize to she her as a shy girl hooking up with iceman in the movies.

I was always into Psylocke. She just looked bad ass. Especially when Jim Lee drew her.

i paid good $$$$$ for X3, so i kinda liked it. the storylines for these show kinda cross over each other like in LOST. I never read too many comics, but the depth is intrigiung. A lot of powerful "heroes" and villains...

fav good guy-wolverine
fav bad guy- magneto

anyone remember Mr. Sinister?

Yeah I remember Mr. Sinister. He's still around today. Last thing he was in was the Messiah Complex.

So cool they are continuing the Lost/X-men connection.

Ken Leung was Kid Omega in X3...we know him affectionately as Miles Straume.
