So who/what alerted Richard to come from the temple with the others? Perhaps that was what Ben was using the mirror for.

yes we have. he read all the information to sawyer back when locke needed to kill his dad

We saw him in Ben's first flashback. Ben was a kid new to the island and was seeing ghosts of his mother, went chasing after her, and ran into an ageless Richard. All last season.

They were all at the temple.

I think that Richard was the one talking to Ben with the mirrors and told him that Keamy and his men had found the Orchid. I think that him and the rest of the others came back from the Temple because there is going to be a big showdown between the militia guys and the Others and that the Losties will end up having to choose sides and fight along the Others to save themselves and the island.

without reading everything, Richard has been around for a while. He is the leader of the others. The orginal Hostiles. They are the ones who killed off Dharma. and ben became ther leader. The reason that you haven't seen him for a while is bacause Ben told them to go to the temple.....

Plus he was filming Cane......

The "Other's" have been at the Temple...that is where Ben sent them when he found out the freighter people were coming......I think when he sent them there, he gave Richard instructions (have to re-watch that episode), but they have been at the Temple waiting for instructions from Ben, which would make me think that Ben communicating by mirror to them would be the "instructions" or something thereabouts.....I don't know if there are any more stations on the island? Anyone else know? I thought this was the last one....even Juliette was unaware of this one.....
