What if the Island does move "in time" and it moves backwards not forward. That is when the 6 get off the Island. Maybe Ben ends up giving them a boat or something. That would answer the question about Jack's scar why it isn't there. When Kate got off the plane she had her freckles back that would explain that too. Was there anything else that was different?
Another thing I thought was weird. When they open the cargo doors on the plane it is the same way they bring home coffins. That ramp thing they pulled out is the what the coffins to go down. What if they are dead and they don't know it. I just find it odd to bring home the 6 of them after all that in the back of a cargo plane.

Your interesting and observant idea could mean that they are "dead" to the island. Or as you are suggesting, that they are actually dead. Is it a foreshadowing of what might be coming in the future?

I don't see any scar. When he was laying in bed and the phone rang there wasn't any scar then either. I rewatched it. It shows him lying there with just a sheet. Hmmmm

I mean when Hurley says they are dead to Jack and the co-pilot saying he needed his rabbit's foot because of the cargo in the back wouldn't you say because of the people we just rescued?

ok i see the point..but why would they have a press conference with dead people?...i would say the rabbit foot with the pilot is kind of a joke that he needed it cause the people in the back have already crashed once...but i seen the thing when the door opened and thought it was for caskets also, but blew it off as there was a step down....i dont know...but good thinking
